As Executive Chef and Partner of Alto's, Convivio and Marea restaurants, Michael White creates Altos Northern Italian and L' Impero's Southern Italian cuisine, thoughtfully sourcing products directly from the country to make dishes shine. The award-winning chef, recently awarded with two Michelin Stars, and cookbook author mastered his craft while working under some of the finest chefs in Europe, including ItalyÕs Valentino Marcattilli and FranceÕs Roger Verge. White spent eight years in Europe before returning to the U.S. to further hone his culinary skills. Before becoming a partner at Alto, White held posts at highly acclaimed restaurants including ChicagoÕs four-star Spiaggia and New York CityÕs Fiamma Osteria.
